 When designing the website for the Ashfield BNP Group we wanted to create a modern looking site with advanced features but at the same time make the site accessible for users of any ability or age. The result is a Word Press blog with a modified 'Modicus Remix' skin sitting neatly under our custom designed Ashfield BNP Group logo. The site is easily updateable via an admin back end for the groups administrators. The comments system is provided by 'Intense Debate' which allows users to log in once then post comments on any Intense Debate enabled website including the national BNP site. We have added a 'Donate'facility and monetised the site with Google Ad's and an Amazon store earning over £75 in the first 3 months alone. One of the most overlooked aspects of setting up a site is optimising and promoting it to the search engines to ensure that people can find you. www.ashfieldbnp.org.uk has many first page Google rankings for it's chosen keywords, and is already the most popular political site in Ashfield. |
